This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Bres Tis Lexis ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use it on Android and iOS. The App is provided by Nikolaos Kalaitzidis ("the Developer"), who is the data controller for the purposes of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Bres Tis Lexis is a Greek vocabulary word game. We do not require an account and we do not ask you for your name, email address, or phone number. The App is supported by advertising and an optional one-time "Remove Ads" purchase.
We do not ourselves collect personally identifying information. However, the third-party SDKs the App uses collect and process the following categories of data:
| Data | Collected by | Purpose | Shared |
|---|---|---|---|
| Advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / Apple IDFA) | Google AdMob | Serving ads, frequency capping, and personalisation (only with consent) | Shared with Google and advertising partners |
| Device & other identifiers and device information (model, OS version, language, network info) | Google AdMob | Ad delivery, fraud prevention, diagnostics | Shared with Google |
| Approximate (coarse) location, derived from IP address | Google AdMob / Google consent SDK | Geo-appropriate ads and detecting whether consent is legally required | Shared with Google |
| App activity (ad impressions, clicks) | Google AdMob | Ad measurement and performance | Shared with Google |
| Diagnostics (ad SDK performance / crash data) | Google AdMob | SDK functionality and reliability | Shared with Google |
| Purchase status of the "Remove Ads" product | Google Play / Apple App Store | Unlocking the ad-free experience and restoring purchases | Processed by the app store; not received by the Developer in identifiable form |
We do not use any analytics, attribution, or crash-reporting SDKs (for example, no Firebase, Google Analytics, Crashlytics, Facebook, or similar), and we do not collect your precise GPS location, contacts, photos, files, or messages.
Ads are provided by Google AdMob. How Google uses information from apps that use its services is described in Google's partner policy and the Google Privacy Policy.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to ask for your consent before any personalised ads are shown. If you do not consent, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalised.
On iOS, the App also presents Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. The advertising identifier (IDFA) is only used for tracking if you allow it; if you decline, ads are non-personalised.
The App offers a one-time, non-consumable Remove Ads purchase. Payments and purchase verification are handled entirely by Google Play Billing (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS). We do not collect or store your payment details. The App only stores a local flag on your device indicating whether ads have been removed; this is re-verified with the store and can be restored via "Restore purchases".
The App may occasionally invite you to rate it using the Google Play In-App Review feature. This interaction is handled by Google Play.
Your game progress (stages, score) and preferences (such as sound and the ads-removed flag) are stored locally on your device only and are not transmitted to the Developer. Uninstalling the App removes this local data. (If you have device backup enabled, your operating system may include this data in your own cloud backup, which is governed by your device provider.)
If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Where we rely on a legal basis, that basis is your consent for personalised advertising. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through the App or its store listing.
