Learn with Evagelia
Effective date: 7 September 2026 · Last updated: 7 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile app Learn with Evagelia ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use it on Android and iOS. The App is provided by Nikolaos Kalaitzidis ("the Developer"), who is the data controller for the purposes of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Learn with Evagelia is a child-friendly app that teaches the Greek alphabet, numbers, days of the week, and colors by touch and sound. It is designed to be used by young children together with their parents or carers.

Summary

Information collected through the App

None. We do not collect, transmit, or share any information about you or your child. Specifically, the App:

On Android, the App requests no permissions whatsoever — not even the Internet permission. It cannot reach the network, so it cannot send any data to us or to anyone else. On iOS, the App requests no special permissions either: it uses no location, microphone, camera, photos, or contacts.

All sounds and images used by the App are bundled inside the App itself. Nothing is downloaded, streamed, or uploaded.

Data stored on your device

The App stores a single setting on your device: whether texts are shown in Greek or English. It is kept in a local preferences file and is never sent to the Developer.

On Android, the App permits the operating system's automatic backup, so the language setting may be included in your device's own backup (for example in your Google account backup), which is governed by your device and cloud provider, not by us.

Children's privacy

The App is designed for young children. Because the App collects no data, no personal information about children is gathered, stored on our side, or shared with anyone. The App shows no ads, links to no external websites, and offers nothing to buy. Parents and carers can contact us at any time with questions — see Contact.

Your rights

Because we do not process any personal data, there is normally nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you nonetheless have the right to contact us and ask whether we hold any personal data about you, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Our lawful basis for the minimal on-device processing described above is that it takes place entirely on your device at your direction and is not transmitted to us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example if a future version of the App adds features that change how it handles information. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version, and material changes will be communicated through the App or its store listing.
