Lelemetro ("we", "our", or "the app") is a national service countdown app. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information.
Lelemetro helps you track your national service countdown, log services, leaves, and guard duty, and share your progress. The app is free and does not require an account.
All of the following data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. Limited data may be shared with third parties only as described in the Advertising, Analytics, and Crash Reporting sections below:
This data is used solely to provide app functionality. You can delete it by uninstalling the app or clearing app data.
Lelemetro displays ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use:
On Android, the app participates in the Privacy Sandbox Topics and Attribution Reporting APIs, restricted to the Google Mobile Ads SDK. These APIs provide interest-based advertising and conversion measurement without sharing raw identifiers across apps.

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the UK, we show a consent form before showing personalized ads, as required by Google's policies. You can change your choices at any time via Settings → Privacy options (Προτιμήσεις απορρήτου) in the app.
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used (for example, which screens are opened, when onboarding is completed, and when certain actions like saving settings or sharing a card occur). Firebase may process:
We configure analytics so it does not receive the personal content you enter in the app (such as ESSO, unit name, notes, or event titles). The only categories we send are coarse, non-identifying signals — such as the type of an event you add (duty, leave, guard, or other), which screens you open, and technical error codes.
Analytics collection is aligned with your advertising consent choices where required (for example, in the EEA/UK, measurement may be disabled if you do not consent in the same way as for ads). You can read more in Google's Firebase Privacy information and Google's Privacy Policy.
We use Firebase Crashlytics to detect and fix stability issues. When the app crashes or encounters a non-fatal error, Crashlytics may collect:
We apply an automatic redaction layer that strips sensitive metadata keys (such as passwords, tokens, email addresses, ESSO, location, and phone numbers) before any data leaves your device. Crash reports do not contain the personal content you enter in the app.
Crashlytics data is processed by Google according to their Firebase Privacy information and Privacy Policy.
We do not operate our own backend for profile or event data, and we do not collect:
When you share a card (e.g. to Instagram Stories), the image is generated on your device and shared via your chosen app. We do not receive or store shared content.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you have rights under the GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability. Since we do not collect personal data on our own servers, exercising these rights mainly involves managing data on your device (e.g. clearing app data or uninstalling) and adjusting your advertising and tracking choices as described above.
Legal basis. We rely on your consent for personalized advertising (and, where required in your region, for analytics and related measurement). We rely on our legitimate interests in keeping the app stable and secure for crash reporting and basic, non-personalized usage analytics, to the extent permitted where you live.
International transfers. Our service providers (Google — AdMob, Firebase Analytics, and Crashlytics) may process data on servers outside the EEA/UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, transfers are covered by safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, as described in Google's privacy documentation.
Complaints. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA may apply. We do not collect personal information on our own servers. Data collected in connection with the app is through Google AdMob for advertising (e.g. advertising ID, device information), Firebase Analytics for usage analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting, as described in the sections above. Under the CCPA, making the advertising ID available to AdMob for personalized ads may be considered a "sale" or "share" of personal information.
Your rights: You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Opt out of personalized ads (sale/share): Use your device settings (e.g. Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization). You can also use the in-app Privacy options (Settings → Privacy options / Προτιμήσεις απορρήτου) where available.
To exercise other rights (e.g. know, delete), contact us at the email below. Because we do not store your data on our servers, we will guide you through device-level steps (e.g. clearing app data or uninstalling) where applicable.
Lelemetro is intended for users of national service age. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
