Privacy Policy for Sloom

Effective Date: February 22, 2026

Welcome to Sloom! This Privacy Policy explains how “Sloom - Baby Tracker” (“we,” “our,” or “the app”) handles your data.

We built Sloom to be a private, cozy, and secure space for you and your baby. Because of our “local-first” design philosophy, we prioritize your privacy above all else.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Currently, Sloom operates entirely offline on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information.

All the data you enter into Sloom—including but not limited to:

…is saved locally on your device (or in your device’s standard backups, if you have enabled them through your operating system). We do not have servers that receive this data, and we cannot read or access it.

2. Third-Party Services

Sloom currently operates entirely independently. We do not use third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising frameworks that monitor your behavior within the app.

(Note: If you use Android’s built-in cloud backup services to back up your phone, your app data may be backed up to your Google account according to Google’s privacy policies. We do not control these system-level backups.)

3. Permissions We Request

To provide certain features, Sloom may request permissions on your device (such as running a foreground service to keep sleep timers accurate even when the app is minimized). These permissions are strictly used to make the app function locally and do not grant us access to your personal data.

4. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. If we introduce features in the future that require cloud syncing or data collection (such as family sharing), we will update this policy and ask for your explicit consent before collecting any data.

We advise you to review this page periodically for any changes.

5. Contact Us
